if the seat back can be as tall as the bottom is wide(from front to back) make the set back the same size.Add hinges.(regular steel) door hinges will work.on the top side of the seat back add a set of legs attached with bolts and lock nuts These legs will fold back up into the angle of the frame work. The lock nuts will allow you to tighten them just enough so the legs will pivot.Fold down and back up when not in use...... Just another little tip.If you are using a Chop Saw to cut your angle.Set it at a 45 degree angle for you rectangular and box shapes.A chop saw can cut a near perfect 45 degree angle.Way quicker/stronger than having to cope the joints. Then the cross braces can all be straight cuts... .......Wookee

i'll get to that more in the next week or 2, but tomorrow...
is engine day...! i'll post all of my pics at once (didn't take any pics of the 305's removal) but the empty engine bay, and the new 350 will be going in tomorrow... it's been so damn long, but it's almost here...! | | | Re: 84 Chevy '20... | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 veteran | OP veteran Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 | ok, you guys will have to kick me out - i didn't take any pics of the work today... i know, i know... but my phone (AKA my camera) died on the way to the shop today and i thought i had a charger with me...
oh well...
but the new 350 is in the hole, and tomorrow on lunch i'll take some pics... maybe i'll even go put the intake on during lunch, too... then it's the distributor, plugs, wires... then some more wiring, and the starter... then i can fire it up...! | | | Re: 84 Chevy '20... | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 9,428 Likes: 2 carpal tunnel | carpal tunnel Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 9,428 Likes: 2 | Alright! Almost like it bound up a little when you set the engine down, collpsed and just stayed there. For ha ha's stick in a new one and see what happens. Here is a couple of pictures of the mounts that where on my 77 and one of my 89..... they all look pretty close to the same as you have dimensionally 77 mounts.... 77 mounts on engine 89 PS mount Next thing would be to try to pry the mount its self into place.starting with a flat head screw driver working up to a tapered pin...... good luck....... .......wookee

now i need to get some headers for it, and put the front end back together...
