How hard would it be to make it split? I haven't seen a mid(not saying they aren't out there)with a split. I mean you are making this thing to be way different then any other van so a split would give it that more of an edge!! Just my 2 cents!! You are doing a great job as it is. Really coming together.

It is better to have Van'd once in your life, then to never had Van'd at all! | | | Re: 77 Dodge Street Van | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 107 member | member Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 107 | Just spotted this thread, as I have been a bit distracted from the Vannin fun, as of late. Spectacular build!
Completely love the idea of useing the killer Chrysler front grille and rear tail light setup. I could see doing that on even a milder custom build, just cuzz they look so cool all on their own.
Love the chop on this one to. I'm not always automatically for any chop top job, but this one looks right. Really learning on my end to, as to what all it takes. Lots of awesome insight in your pics.
Thanks for letting us in on the fun!

That would be trick, but very difficult to do with contoured glass. | | | Re: 77 Dodge Street Van | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 9,428 Likes: 2 carpal tunnel | carpal tunnel Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 9,428 Likes: 2 | Great to see some more progress on this bad ass van! If I didn't actually need all the headroom I can get in my van, for hauling dirtbikes, I'd be all over chopping mine just like this. Perfect, not to much, and just enough. Maybe I need another van, so I can unleash the creative custom side..Will have to wait till I have more room, atleast......

Or maybe a Sectioned Van,
Oh Yeah a Tandem Van,
Shortened or Lenghtend
I guess I just like them all.

I am always surprised at the number of comments that say that do not like chopped vans. But I will admit that I don't like shortened vans or even tandems so I guess it does come down to personal taste. Chopped, sectioned and bagged... that's what I'm talking about!
