In keeping with the theme, participants will be given a passport for their travels around the fairgrounds that weekend. Right now, I am looking for some clubs, councils, vendors or individuals who are willing to stamp people's passports during the event. I will mention your participation in the bible that will be handed out, and possibly your location on the grounds.
I thought this would be a great way to get people to mingle at various camps, stop and check out some of the vendors, and have some fun. Maybe your club or group can find a way to add your own twist. For example, make your camp a European landmark from the movie (Paris, Italy, Germany, England, etc.) You could have your own Eiffel Tower or German beer garden or something like that! Let me know if you're interested.
Also, for those of you familiar with the Annual Duck Race held in memory of our former club member Dave "Duck" Arms, we are adding a few wrinkles to that also.
First of all, the two heats last year didn't work out all that well. So, we are scrapping that idea this year. But, by popular demand, we are increasing the number of ducks from 150 to 250. This means that instead of three colors (pink, yellow and blue) with 50 each, we will have five colors. (Two other colors to be announced).
The other new twist is we are offering five clubs or individuals a chance to buy Duck Club Charter Memberships. In addition to each duck being offered for sale to individuals, groups of 50 ducks (each color) can be purchased for $25 in the form of a duck club. For example, someone could buy the rights to the yellow ducks by forming the Moon Lite Drunkin Duck Racing Club. AND if a yellow duck wins the race, their club will win the $100 cash jackpot. The person who owns that particular duck, say # 29, would still win the prize associated with the duck race. In other words, you have a 5 to 1 chance of winning $100 for your $25 investment.
Charter memberships are limited to five and are first-come first serve. Let me know if you are interested in any of this stuff. thanks! email me at tom@thepolishfarmers.com
thanks again. see you soon.... Rev. Tommy, Performance,Inc.

Count us in for the passport stop. Also Wizard's Van In Videos would like to buy all the blue ducks for $25. Can't wait to get there.

We will do something to amuse the tourists. And ya know our location in the back 40

Also, we'd like to buy a charter membership for The Martell Cartel. We'll take one of the new colors - is there anything you need from us to make this happen (besides $25)??
Can't wait! Loving the new ideas!

If I followed all the posts right, we have three of the five duck charters sold and four stops on the passport list. we'll figure out if we're going to give you a rubber stamp or if you have one yourself you'd like to use. Other clubs and vanners, don't be afraid to jump in. The water's fine. At least that's what the ducks tell me! Se ya. Rev T
