Richard If you have worked with Imron, you can prolly shoot any paint! That stuff was rough to spray without a booth. Awesome paint for rough use vehicles tho. Had a 68 Bronco I used for wheeling and it almost never scratched. | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 | '68 Nice!! That's what I used it for. My friend and I made a custom bumper using a Smittybilt tube as the platform for my '85 Ramcharger. We shot it up as well as my Nerf bars and some other parts with black Imron in the backyard. Of all the offroading we did the bumper and Nerf bars were never badly scratched. Nothing that couldn't be buffed out. The body and parts around them, well that is a different story. Very durable paint so is Deltron. I used Deltron on my '40 Plymouth. I painted the firewall and other parts(you really didn't see) to save money on the paint job. Didn't save much, but I had fun and it was a learning experience. Richard

I got a 57 dodge pickup im buildin Thanks! Got a 48 Dodge p/u that needs just about everything myself. It was the wife's grandfathers. Plan on putting a Jeep Wagoneer frame and drive line under it. | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 | That '78 is awesome, I like the paint color scheme. That '85 will be the first stretch limo I have ever seen. You should get it done!! As for the '48 I'd leave it stock soon there will be not many around. I would like to get my hands on a '42-'45 power wagon. A not so battle worn one. I could have had a Dodge 6x6 weapons carrier complete with the 50 cal. gun ring over the pass. seat, but had no room at the time. Here are a few pics of my '85 Ramcharger and one of my friends '71 Bronco with matching trailer he built. And if you look in the middle of the spare tire there is the 300w high beam eliminator. Not the best of pics. before digital and I am still learning the scanner. So I took pics of the pics. As for being a Mopar guy is there any other way. I was raised Mopar all my dad owned except for a '68 Ford camper and a '64 Bonneville convertible with Tri-Power.

Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 28,125 | Thanks! Yeah, this was the 4th first gen RC I've owned, and it's really sweet. My girls love cruising in it with the top off. I do need to get the stretch done, but got way too many projects right now. The 48 is too far gone to keep stock. If it wasn't for my wife's sentimental value, it wouldn't even be done. I am fortunate that I have most all of the body parts to rebuild at least that much of it. The engine is seized, one of the rear axles is locked solid, and the bed is near gone. When I first looked at it, I noticed the thermostat housing had completely disintegrated. It had been sitting in a briar patch since 1976. Your RC is sweet. Looks a lot like my 85 did before I cut it up. I bought mine brand new. It was the first new vehicle I ever bought. I sold my Bronco and bought it right after my 73 Cude racecar pushed me through a traffic light coming home from the track. I decided I needed something bigger. Your buddies Bronco looks awesome too. Gotta love the trailer also. Funny, all these pictures I posted, except for the ones of the 78 were pictures of pictures. Sounds like we could be twins Always wanted one of those PW's also. I'd still like to get an ambulance some day. A P.W. and a van all in one | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 28,125 Madman! | Madman!
