I believe Brian has a similar type lifting his hood open. The hinge point on his van is just behind the lower air dam, right at the bottom. With the curve of the dam, the nose moves away from the van as it opens, giving a lot of clearance when open.

I will take pictures for you but it will take a while, because I haven't been there for more than 2 years because of my health-problems. The Van is build in by other vehicles and is standing in the corner. We must first make some space to get the wingdoor open.

I think I'll go there within a month, so I'm taking the camera with me. pics
