I wouldn't want anything to be rubbing on my van. But, BE SURE TO STAKE IT DOWN! I can't tell ya how many times I have seen ez up's flying across the field. I'll pass along another good idea. Pick up 2 sections of foam pipe insulation to wrap around the poles next to your van. I'm happy to see you guys making plans for the nationals. And I look forward to seeing you there.

Also, a whip antenna will give ewe away..... | | | Re: my first nats | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 9,428 Likes: 2 carpal tunnel | carpal tunnel Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 9,428 Likes: 2 | 10" or 12" railroad spikes also work well.

Wait till ewe get the bill for a 10 grand paint job..... | | | Re: my first nats | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 2,207 Likes: 1 veteran | veteran Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 2,207 Likes: 1 | Just don't try to pound a spike with a tack hammer ! Brings up an interesting point. What if you are parked on gravel or pavement? I keep kicking around making a set of concrete filled buckets with long stem Eye Hooks set in them. I'm just not sure if this would be more safe or more dangerous in a high winds scenerio.
