I am really glad to see I am not the only one who has the same feelings.
The plus side is,you know that the van is done RIGHT.When it is done right it will last allot longer.
Only thing I might have done different was use the blue looking primer last.That way, heaven forbid you get a minor chip in the paint.It would not be as noticeable it it is close to the final paint color.
The other good thing is you started whith a black van.Black shows allot the bad spots......

Thanks! Yes, I'm really hoping this van will last a while. Ready for paint this weekend.

Well, it will be mostly blue... I still like to surprise, so stay tuned...

The name is nice hammer! Looks just like mine to!

Well... It's finally in a different color!

It was a long way but it was worth it.

Got the layers of primer sanded back down till it was straight.



Put one coat of black primer on it.



Sprayed the custom blue base coat and preparing for the pattern on the sides..



That is a lot of tape.



Covering up the rest of the van.



It's a two-man job. (for those of you who don't know me, that's me in the black t-shirt)





Spraying white base..



And then two layers og GOLD shimmer on top of white.



And finally clear coat.



Rear.



Fresh out of the paint booth.



Also got the rear lights blacked out.



Got most of the parts put back on. Started to drizzle when I got it home.



Also got new mirrors put om after paint.

Turned out very nice,nice work! like the graffic.
