The new hoses look sweet! The floor, um, not so much. Glad you caught it before the tank went through.

I had a leak at my rear cargo doors that caused similar damage to the original wood floor, but fortunately I caught it in time; the paint and metal was still OK. There was actually some kind of white fungus growing in the rotted wood! -Yuck!!

Are you going to splice in some new flooring to cover that area or do you think you'll replace all of it at once? I replaced all of mine at once to be sure I didn't have any fungus spores left over. With the corrugations in the floor, they could get around pretty easily. Even up towards the front I could smell some musty smell on the underside of the wood.

I coated all of the replacement wood with Thompson's Water Seal, which is used to preserve exterior wood decks. I figure it might make the flooring a bit less tasty to any future invaders...

some of that "outside deck sealer" can be toxic, Its outside for a reason

It's been an age since I updated this so here goes. I got a small warehouse unit to store it before xmas so I could start into the bodywork.
I started by attacking some rust that was behind the rear bumper. The bumper itself was bent so I am replacing it with a spare front bumper I have (some modification required). Anything that I take off I strip back to bare metal and repaint.
I finished my custom engine cover/doghouse.
I have just finished striping the van ready to attack the rust and prep it for paint.
There are quite a few holes in it which I will be filling in with patches.
At the moment I'm experimenting with chopping the front springs to lower it.
Here's the photos.....
