SCORE...! gunna pull it sometime soon, most likely this week...
on a nice note, i got most of the 305 apart and ready to scrap, and i cleaned up the valve covers and new intake manifold (oh yeah!)... getting pretty excited... | | | Re: 84 Chevy '20... | Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 18,536 Likes: 136 Supreme Master | Supreme Master Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 18,536 Likes: 136 | Cool...Dont forget to post pics,We love Arianrhod:2003 Chevy Astro Black Magic: 1985 Dodge B-250 Serenity:1985 Chevy G-20 The Outcast:1983 Ford club wagon Luna 1974 VW bay window transporter Freedom:1990 Ford E-150(parts van) Outcast Vanners van club Support your local 2% | | | Re: 84 Chevy '20... | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 veteran | OP veteran Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 | haven't pulled the new 350 out yet (been busy working 6 days a week) but i've been playing with some other stuff... yes, that's the venturi vent and new louvers under the valve covers... all those bed frames i pulled out of a dumpster behnd 'big lots' (a close-out store) and i'm going to use them to frame my seats for the new interior... i've decided exactly what i want to do, and i may just build it without posting some teasing pics,or maybe just the drawings and planning i have going on... not totally sure yet... i also got some new seats for it because the blue ones in Rosalyn are spoken for by someone else... i put those in Rosalyn today (yeah yeah, without pics!) and they're comfortable...! | | | Re: 84 Chevy '20... | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 2,820 veteran | veteran Joined: May 2010 Posts: 2,820 | haven't pulled the new 350 out yet (been busy working 6 days a week) but i've been playing with some other stuff... yes, that's the venturi vent and new louvers under the valve covers... all those bed frames i pulled out of a dumpster behnd 'big lots' (a close-out store) and i'm going to use them to frame my seats for the new interior... i've decided exactly what i want to do, and i may just build it without posting some teasing pics,or maybe just the drawings and planning i have going on... not totally sure yet... i also got some new seats for it because the blue ones in Rosalyn are spoken for by someone else... i put those in Rosalyn today (yeah yeah, without pics!) and they're comfortable...! are you using the little tonka truck in the back to build the van ? lol | | | Re: 84 Chevy '20... | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 veteran | OP veteran Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 | hey don't knock my engine-pulling technique...! There is a lengthy thread about them going on in the van sightings section. Great color choice on the intake and valve covers!
