The painter painted some of the graphics over the weekend. Basically the parts with the lines and fades are done. I think it's going to look nice when it's cleared. It's pretty subtle in some lights but there is a lot of pearl in the paint. Next comes the metalflake panels. | | | Re: Black or Gold for my 77 Chevy? | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 298 enthusiast | enthusiast Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 298 |

I can't wait to see pictures with a better camera under better lighting. That Inca gold is such a rich color, it's difficult to do it justice in a quick picture.
Thanks for posting all the detail pictures and info about the process you're following. It should really help other Vanners who are dreaming about custom paint decide how much they can do and how much they'll need to farm out.

Some of these are taken with a pretty old phone. I'll take some nice photos once it is done.
This has taken a lot longer than I thought it would. I just hope I am satisfied with the final product. It is definitely hard to get something like this done right on a budget unless you can do everything yourself. | | |
