I think you're trying to pick fly shit from the pepper.

Most engines, whatever make, with regular maintenance will last longer then the vehicle they are put into.

Find the one which produces the torque in the rpm range you want, and can be made to fit in your application.

Didnt Mobil 1 do a advertisement to the point that they ran the motor high rpm's ...drained out all the oil and ran it again w/ no oil ?

How many engines did they go thru before they got the results they needed for an advertisement ?

I am not aware of that advertisement.

The following is a great automotive forum for everything lubrication oriented.

There is so much more to motor oil than most think.

My current questions are these...
How much taller than the current Triton engines would one of those Ford pushrods be if I added an EFI system to it???
And is it confirmed that pushrod engines produce more torque???
If so, how is it that according to the sites the Ford E-series has more torque than the Express vans??? I know that GM uses pushrod while Ford uses modular.

Jeremy Clarkson is anything but unbiased. Especially anything this side of "the pond" (he even learned to hate the Ford GT that he owned). However, the BBC does strictly forbid any type of advertising or favoritism.

I totally agree, but I would decide based on what will fit. Your ducks need to get organized and into a row.

I think you got the shows mixed up.... Jeremy is from 'Top Gear' not 'Fifth Gear'... lol

Anyways about his Ford GT... He loved it, but soon issues kept crawling with the fuel consumption and the doors in tight parking spaces.... Its wasn't about hate, it was about practicality.
The Ford GT's doors are cool, but maybe a better choice for the GT would have been gullwing doors like the SLS....

Yeah, I read top and not fifth.

You are dead wrong about the SLS doors, I've heard from nobody that likes those.
