They are more expensive to BUY, not to own and maintain. Good luck, Van on!

So I take it that the other two (Ford & Dodge) are cheaper to buy but more costlier in terms of maintenance....

I guess what im tryin to say is dont get a lightweight body and motor...load it up customizing it cause your motor and tranny is going to give and you will be buying another ( thus buying it twice )

Thanks for the advice...

The van is VW LT... Its German which means its going to be German quality metal. Couple that with the weight of the equipment I'll be loading in the back, I needed an engine that provides good enough torque so I don't need to rev it as much to get going.

My question is... which of the two (pushrod or modular) gives more torque???
