Yo will see the hinge from the outside though.

the hinges I made were 14 gauge and I bought 6 feet of it from grainger for like $20. However I only use 6 inches of hinge for each hinge so I was able to make six sets of hinges for $20.

He also used the side door handle and the factory latched in the bottom of the doors. Here is a Connecticut area 1st gen sporting a Gull wing I am pretty sure this one is a fiberglass door....... .........Wookee
