Get a 4 core radiator, a shop can get you one, stay away from 2 rows and don't get fooled by the ebay sellers with the newer upgrade all aluminum radiators. The fan shroud attached to the radiator increase the air drawn by the fan, if it's missing, get one ASAP, make it from tubing if you have to, it directs the air through the radiator.

I have switched to Synthetic in all my vehicles, even high milage ones and never had an issue so I would say the stories that come about blaming it on the oil had other issues before the oil came into play.. just my 2%

Leave the EGR spacer.. most delete the EGR thinking it's emissions crap but the EGR will help if you want to run 87 octane in you motor.. just my 2%

I actually did. I talk to some of the county sheriffs friends of mine and fellow shooters and I also talk to The Second Amendment Foundation here in WA. They say since there was not physical attack and I didnt shot the dog and there is no record of arrest or any police report to the event, there is nothing they can do. Also since it is private property he can allow whoever he wants there. The thing is that he doesnt have a sign of "Beware of Dog" or "Not firearms allowed on premises"

This is what really happened. Im gonna drop this subject since it has nothing to do with FORD performance.

Ok Crew.

I received some of my items today.

Fan Clutch
Air Intake hose
K&N filter
Brake Master Cylinder.

_Fan Clutch_

What an ordeal. I got the call to pick up my items. I start to work right away. So I notice something about the way I assemble it that didnt look right. I go and check a youtube video and realize how much of an amateur I am, lol. The Flex Fan doesnt have a hole for me to stick the clutch.
[Linked Image]

So I go and try to get the right fan blade for the clutch. They sold me the wrong clutch!!. So they didnt have it, but they have the blade.
[Linked Image]

I had to travel to the other store to get it. I was smart and ask them to bring me the fan blade that goes to my van. That way I can have them measure it so I dont have to take another trip. So I got it exchanged.
I went to my Autozone and get the flex fan exchange for the one theone that supposed to go with.

~~NOW THIS LOOKS MORE LIKE IT~~~

So brothers, Freak Out no More. The flex fan is gone. laugh

_AIR INTAKE HOSE_
I was gonna follow Brother Reed advise but they day that I was gonna get the item the junkyard incident happened and I didnt want to wait to go to spokane. To make it short. The order me the wrong one. So again...to the store. I basically spend all day trying to get the right parts they misordered.
I told the manager about how frustraded I was. [Linked Image]I got my money back and he gave a $20 gift certificate for the inconvenience.

_K&N filter_
Installed. Im glad they gave me the right one. lol

_Brake Master Cylinder_
I spend so much time going back and foward I didnt have a chance to installed but I ask the store manager to double check to make sure the clerk order me the right one.

Another day in this adventure! smile

Yay! I surprised you got a six blade fan. I need to double check, but I am pretty sure the factory clutch fans on both my 94 and my 89 were 5 blades. Interesting. A touch more drag, but more cooling which you will need in the summer over there on the dry half of the State.

Ford kept the same body style from 75-91. As far as other vehicles go, quite possibly. Ford vans are a big square, so it would be easy to find something that would fit. Just get a tape measure, measure your current radiator, then go to the junkyard and measure the radiators until you find the biggest one that will fit.

Many radiators in salvage yards have calcium build up in them, it makes them inefficient, may be 4 row but only 2 are free flowing, and if you flush them you wind up with a sprinkler.
