I have been musing over this further. Edelbrock sells universal four barrel throttle bodies. You could gat a standard four barrel carb intake and have it machined to accept injectors, and then use the Edelbrock throttle body. That way you could keep your stock air cleaner and would only have to figure out how to plumb in the MAF sensor.

Been considering relocating the battery to the rear, so remove it from under the hood, but need room for an AC to add in the rear also, not sure on what all plumbing is necessary for an AC unit in the rear, not front. TBI really is no better than a finely tuned carb, so that's out of a question, I don't think I could get the power I want from a 302 for what I'm planning. I'm putting in a bed and limited cabinets, certain to leave room for the lift and my wheelchair to move around, a lot of weight, and in the future I'm hoping to build a trailer, I want to have the ability to get away from the house. The paraplegic life has requirements that can't be filled in a tent or in a van, campers are not built for their needs and if they were, who could afford it, hence make my own. I can't afford to own and upkeep 2 vehicles, so the mid was my pick for building my future. Access to the engine is better than late models, yet it's missing things offered in later vans, so modification is needed.

Gotcha. In that case, stay tuned for my big post I am going to make once I get my own swap dealt with. I had to deal with swapping from a 302 to a 351, from carb to fuel injection, from SD to MAF, and from AOD to C6. I pretty much covered everything you will need to know. Hang tight for a bit until I get the last few bugs worked out, then I will do my post.

I will say that even with the transmission that I ruined, the MAF 351 felt like it had GOBS of power. I can't wait to try it out with a C6 and all the bugs worked out. I think a MAF-ed 351W would meet all your needs.
