Some timing degree tape for the balancer would be helpful (7.25" diameter). I usually use some skim, very thin coat of RTV to adhere it to the balancer as it holds better than just the adhesive that comes with the tape, fyi. Good luck smile

Yeah that tape didnt hang stay on long. Long enough to set it. (good thing I picked up two of them) Mine was only 5.25 in diameter....

Please don't use the "advance it 'till it pings" method. It's equivalent to beating on your pistons, rings, & bearings with a sledge hammer. Here is a good link to help you with your timing setup:

I got it running pretty good. No ping, No detonation..... Feels good at all speeds and burns the rubber :-) I think I can squeeze a weee bit more out of it, but I'll get to that later.
