I love how these threads take on a life of their own. Great work!! If I decide to go FI this is def the way to go on a Dodge.

I currently have a TBI 350 from a wrecked van in my garage, with all the accompanying parts,(harness, computer, gas tank, etc) and my plans for the future is to put it all into my early Chevy with the overdrive trans. I'm not sure when this will be happening, as I'm also currently disabled, but, I fully intend to take lots of pics and keep everyone posted as to the progress.

If posible, this complete drivetrain swap is really the easiest and most cost effective way to go. Swapping the Ford 302 with MAF and an AOD is far easier and cheaper than messing with Megasquirt and Gearvendors. Similarly, swapping to a Magnum Mopar smallblock with sequential MAF EFI and an A500 or A518 and all the associated computers and wiring is also far cheaper than dealing with aftermarket vendors. If you are lucky and get the right parts, you can even do the swap without pulling the engine block (the worst part of this swap, but even a motor swap is easier than months of fiddling around with switches and spark maps on an aftermarket computer.

I have installed the DIY megasquirt unit on my van and love it. The factory fuel inj was just problems for me. Idle is better, accel is better, and i am able to run it as lean or rich as i like. Completely tuneable. I have a cam and headers and got just over 17mpg at 70mph on my last trip. Now i want to try e85. And i am about to try a turbo, the ecu will see boost pressures up to 21psi. I just want 5psi.
