The drivers door window etching looks the same ....How does this HAPPEN to these shows trucks!

That is the same van on CraigsList. Has the custom tail lights & the rear windows say Touch of Velvet. Someone should call on it & find out what happened to it.
It was originally owned & built by Gary Blanck from New London,Iowa. Was in Truckin mag May 1979. Brad

Some of that makes my head spin... it's not at all a straightforward space scene like I thought it would be; it's like it's got metaphors mixed all through it, like the witch on the broom, the astronaut reaching for the star, the AC plug flying through space, etc.

Joshvan - you literally took the words right out of my mouth; there really are elements and cues that remind me of an arcade pinball machine, especially that banner area with the van's name.
-And I mean that in a good way!

One look at that lighting and fiber control area and I gained a *lot* more respect for Glenn's talent, patience and determination; it's one thing to wire up something, but to make it look clean, graceful and artistic and to even integrate functional elements into the artwork takes some real mastery of multiple disciplines!

I'd still love to see some pictures of StarCruiser's interior. The outside's so splashy the interior seems to have sneaked past the spotlights!

Well I got some more pics but not very good it is indeed "Touch of Velvet" she looks pretty rough but may be salvageable, if someone wants to pursue it further I have the owners phone # and will PM it to you. I was going to call but that might lead to something I don't want I have enough projects

I emailed Glen about some new high res pics and some shots of his interior. I can barely remember what it actually looked like. It may take a while to hear back from him, but I'll keep you all posted.
