Well I was offered 5200 for my van, guy is over in London and wants to buy it then have it shipped there. He was on here looking for a van, does this sound legit? I'm attached to my van but the back is empty yet, I'd have to find another one! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3810924

Thats up to you , do you want to sell it ? I don't think you can replace it right now for that kind of money . I been looking I can only find Junk , or top dollar rides .

We have people in England that can check this guy out if he is a vanner. If you sell it, get an International money order, and don't ship til you are SURE it cleared. I'd wait at least 30 days.

Well I added him as a friend on facebook, he seems legit. Loves cars etc and wants a shorty van. I'm not sure I can part with it? I know I have much more to do but it seems like it's getting harder to find a good van these days. He says it would cost him 1800 to get it shipped there.

Just in case you think it may not be legit, double chck everything. The all to common scam for some of these is, they will send you a bank draft for 7000.00 say, and have you send the 1800 balance back to him, or to the so called " shipping company" and he will arrange the shipping...or, .off course that never happens as the the original draft was a phoney, and he has your money and disappears.....

I would go one step further than waiting the 30 days as H suggested, I would take the draft to the bank and have them call....most banks are aware of the scam

And yes, anybody can be anybody on the net, especially with stolen or cloned id... So be careful out there....and like Howard says, we have Vanners over there to help check it out....

On the other hand, to build another van will probably cost you more than 5200, especially with a spectacular paint job!

Yes I hear ya, I looked at it today and don't think I can part with it. I've been thinking of a name for months now, I think I'm ready to name her.

But on the other hand, I played with the guy that wanted my Astro, and posted all the emails here as an educational tool fo all..

Maybe have some fun with him for a while and see how it plays out

hi I am the guy interested in buying the van I am the x vice president of the N.S.V.A in the uk and most of you will no me from being the webmaster for the www.nsva site i built for the club..... I now run www.rebelvanners.co.uk and am a well known vanner through out europe. I also built hot pursuit the gmc safari van that was in the van calender 05/06... So there is no fear of an kind of scam..... rollie on here knows me well as does hurrican wayne2 I stayed with him for a week back in 2004 and am hopfully coming out to my first state side truckin in july this year...... so would be great to meet up with some of you........
