Hopefully it's nothing serious (or too expensive) if not covered by the warranty.

Just be patient, it will work out. Look how long it took for me to figure out my problem awhile back, when it was backfiring. Can't timing chain, waterpump(just because) wires, and all, and turned out to be a bad wire.
It will work out in the end. | | | Re: 85 Dodge "Root Beer" | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,463 Likes: 12 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,463 Likes: 12 | It's nice to hop in my 72 or 94, hit the key and go. I hop in the 85 and wonder how far I'll get up the road before I have to call the hook. It's an "80's" thing... it just misses all the long hair. Put on some spandex and a big hair wig and I bet it'll run like a top! Clear skies!

Shop called and it turns out the reman carburetor and used carburetor were literally dumping gas into engine and fouling out the plugs.
New carb and plugs are in order. They're going to do the work because quite frankly I was done screwing with it.

This shop does good work.

so this work isn't covered by their warranty?
