They look similar to a Holley, but if you compare the two side-by-side, the Summit carb is way different in design. Summit Carb

Its raining, and I'm working tonite and tomorrow nite, and then off to Montreal for the weekend, but hope to have at least the front flares on early next week. Thanks again Nate, Ken, and Doug, for getting me these flares. | | | Re: 85 Dodge "Root Beer" | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 28,125 Madman! | Madman! Good news!
I didn't have to pull the transmission after all. The leak was caused by me overfilling the transmission. I guess I just misread the stick. So I spent the day getting the speedo hooked back up, installing a rear-view mirror, adjusting the kickdown linkage, and just driving her around a bit.
She's gonna need u-joints soon and I need to get the idle speeds dialed in.
OH..and driving home from Brian's today in a tyrantial downpour, my wipers quit working. It's the motor..luckily I have brand new one sitting here that I had bought for another 85 Dodge I had. That's Saturday's project.

Turns out my wiper linkage bushings are SHOT! I guess that's okay after 24 years. Went to the the local Salvo Auto Parts and they had 4 bushings in stock!
Just had a bit of an ordeal getting the linkages to snap into the bushings...even after lubing them. Geezy peezy.
