Go for the gold! (ha) Seriously, I like that gold with the white roof. A chrome bumper would look better too. Love the Torque thrusts.

And hey, if you add MASSIVE whitewalls and a fur interiour, you'd have a real pimpin machine man!

My Van is Sunfire Black so I would say black. You could always two tone it aswell as both colors look killer side by side. Maybe even do a fade up top Black a Gold bottom or vice versa.

...line of paint. It's very inexpensive and one of the few I have found in lacquer.

There are a few different gold's in that line, or for a bit more, they will mix any color that they have a formula for.

If I had not decided to go with Verdoro green on the '32 I would definitely be painting it War Bonnet yellow one of the prettiest golds and a GM color to boot.

Yes, they said the reflective paint made a big difference.

The new Scions have a nice gold color, but it might be a little too yellow for you. Thing is, if you have something close to what you want, you can take it to a paint shop and they can mix you anything you want. Back in the 70's all of the big 3 had golds too.

I like the black with the stripe gold. But I agree with the black showing imperfections in the body work. I would go with the gold body with the stripe black and maybe the white or reflective roof paint that superbeast recommended. just want to add that if you do a red basecoat before the gold, it will make a much deeper looking color, saw this on an episode of Overhaulin

Both colors done right look good on Early 3rd Gen Chevys.

Here is a black Chevy......

here is a gold one.

This picture does this color no justics.A nice gold paint job will change colors/tones in different lighting situations.Due to the amount of metalic that is in the paint.....

Both of these vans where sporting factory GM colors.......
Cragers, Slots and Smoothies are still avalable in the 5 on 5 pattern. You just need to figure out the vans stance(lowered or stock) and get the correct back space......

Nate, I remember the Sun Bug Gold Bugs.At the time that paint was one of the most expensive paints out there.....

Nice Wookee. I really like that gold van. It really solidifies my vote for gold. That... and the fact I'm already planning to paint the deli-bug gold. grin

Both of those vans are sharp Wookie. That is a nice gold example I don't remember seeing. Thanks. I am putting my van in storage soon and probably wont get it done until spring.

The only issue with the smoothies or slotted rims is I have not seen them in larger (17 or 18") diameters. If I want to get low profile tires and not reduce the overall wheel height. I have 15" 60 series on it now. My front wheels are at least an inch shorter than stock.
