Loved all I've read so far - you all sound so decent. I admit I'm new to forums (yes I've lived under a rock) so I wanted to ask for help with finding the info I need. Hopefully you folks have had, somewhere, someone, posting about the roof seams on anything similar to our 93 Chevy G-20. My husband has had the van from day one, the last few years we've noticed some moisture inside the van. Upon close inspection (I took photos if they'll help) I noted cracks in some welded areas, and possible caulking breeches. I'm a dedicated do it yourself-er, who enjoys doing it right the first time, thus the internet research leading me to your site. I have yet to find/read which products others have used successfully for the metal & caulking repairs. So any help on finding that info on this site would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Contact Wacko. He is in portland, a retired bodyman, And a great vanner. he can probably have a look and advise you. from what I know, it sounds like the seam sealer in the gutters has given up. If that's the case, it can be cleaned out and redone. You can PM him at wackovanner.
