Reminds me of our old girl, 89 B250 Hi-top by Aero.. Same front end, basically same look of van except again ours was a hi-top and we had the 10 slot steelies.. Ours went 236K before the tranny acted up.. Turns out it was the flexplate bolts backed out which in turn wobbled out the threads on converter.. Replaced everything only to have pump let go not two months later... $1100.00 cash we got which was a down payment for wife's neon...
1984 GMC G2500.. Basically stock right now but I have an "open canvas" 5.0L/4-barrel 1995 Ford Aerostar (daughter's van) also stock but she wants more 3.0L/wheezer
MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know how to get out of my driveway and neighborhood.

The reason being that the van sits so low to the ground, pulling into 1 screwed up parking lot with uneven pavement will dent the hell outta them. There's 300 bucks down the drain. I put a new catalytic converter and flowmaster on it with 2 rear ports. Split the pipes and ran Daytona pipes in front of each rear tire with double chrome tips. Looks pretty sweet.I also put a set of Z Racing centerline style rims on and new Michelins all the way around. Found the rims at Sears of all places for 50 bucks each. They look good. Just finished "installing" new "Lee Press On" rear window louvers. Oh and I got rid of that gawd awful ladder on the back that I will never use anyway cuz no luggage will be on top of my van!! hehe Here's a couple pics.... And wow, did you ever get a deal on those rims - $50 each!! Centerlines were what came on my van, but I replaced them with Cragars. If I'd have known about Sears, I'd have stayed with that style!
Clear skies!

One guy at Discount Tires didn't even know how to spell Cragar! lmfao!!! I was amazed that a tire employee shop didn't know who Cragar was. On a whim, I went into Sears. The guy did me right. They told me it would take 5 to 7 days for the rims to get there. I had them in 4 days. The tires were 150 each! lol. I did get the road hazard stuff. It will pay off I'm sure. The tires have a 60,000 mile warranty so that will pay off too. Patience and perseverance. She's coming around...
