who cares who was 1st or even last in line? as long as you get there and have a great time is ALL that matters!

Ok...the long distance complaining is getting old. The award went to a vanner who drove( and brought his van)the farthest to the event. Not a vanner who has an address the farthest away, but only drove a couple hundred miles from the last event. There were other vanners who drove direct from Arizona, also, who got nothing. As far as that goes, Doc drove farther than anyone if you count the time he left home and was on the road. And Billo and Mr. Bill also racked up the miles. Mr Bill went from Wisconsin to Council in Vegas and then on to the Nats by way of a bunch of events. Charley-you are my friend, have been for a long time, and that doesn't change the fact that I think you are wrong on this one!

AND>>> I am looking at the 7 pictures of your van in Dropjaw Magazine. That is more than many of the vans in the show got! I think Glen was impressed with your van, and your story!

There are 1797 pictures on the Dropjaw Magazine website. I don't think anyone was missed. Not to mention the over 2000 that are linked thru here.

I agree-- main thing is to show up alive, have a good time, go home and hold on to the fun memories. Being the first in line isn't that important, just go have fun!!!!
