The door should not have a glass in it. too much weight. Personally I am out of Cylinders to lift the doors but you need to ge a cylinder that has a lift capacity of at least 140 lbs break over per side or more to do the job.You will have to search the internet for the cylinders but they can be found. The old J&J cylinders (blue label) are not heavy enough to lift a steel door. This is very possible, you just have to find the lifting cylinders. I have some but I am keeping them for spares, but I can look tomorrow and get the brand name off them for you if you want. PM me if you want them

I think it had about an 1 1/4 flanges on the hinge . PM me and I will Draw you a sketch. scan and send it to you e-mail

Less than standard door hinges!
