I've been unemployed for 6 months. However it was my doing. I was in the middle of a divorce, bankruptcy and pending foreclosure and I lost it at work on a stressful day and just walked away. I was dead broke after the divorce and no chance of unemployment since I quit. At 41 years old I had to move cross country and in with my dad. Luckily I had a place to go otherwise I would be living in my van. I've been in the residential door business most of my career and dabbled in low voltage voice and data cabling and CCTV. I've probably applied to at least 50 places with not even a call or email back. I know this is probably not the right time but I'm going to attempt to go into my own door business.
