My 1977 Dodge B200 Tradesman has an authentic conversion from Winnebago. This includes full shag carpeting on all the walls. However, the shag is sun-rotten. I'm going to replace it sooner or later, but I'd like to do the front doors sooner than later. The window crank, and speakers are hard to use/change/get to with the shag. I was thinking about getting wood paneling from somewhere. How do I go about this? Where do I look, or can I make my own? Any other ideas then wood paneling? Any advice is appreciated. THANKS!

Take off your old panels. Trace them onto a sheet of luon, or cardboard for a template to use over and over. stretch and staple new fabric over them, or you could use contact cement to attach it, or you could stain the luon or whatever wood you buy, use self tapping screws or the screws you took out. You could use the kind with washers for dress up or by screw caps. also fabric stores will cover button caps in your fabric for so many cents per button.

I go to Truck-ins. How about you?

These are on my 83,1/8" mahogany venner, all the screws will be replaced with nylon trim clips so they won't show after they're padded/covered to match seats. It's easy just go for it and enjoy. smile
