I always wondered where to get that heavy fuel-rated hose that connects the tank to the filler neck. Mine's hard as a bowling ball... Maybe now I'll pull my tank out to clean up the floor pan over top of it! They even have the strainers and all that good stuff. Clear skies!

If you miss a little bit of rust and get it into the carb, you risk messing that up to. Then you'll be buying that too. | | | Re: Gas tank full of RUST & WATER!! | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 98 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 98 | I'm liking the MATCH idea from Superbeast.....
But I think I'll probably have to go the NEW TANK way. It just sounds like the easiest way, not to mention the "peace of mind" that comes with knowing that is at least NOT going to be an issue again! (same reason I bought a NEW radiator!)
Wackovanner.....I'll prolly NOT be making the Covenington,WA. meet, which STINKS! Because I WAS planning on it.
THANKS TO ALL!! for all the helpful input!!
I LOVE SLOT-MAGS! (yes, I know about the windshield... thanks.)
