Hey guys, quick question...

I always liked the "Phantom" grille look on most vehicles (my favorite being on a 1st gen. Camaro)

anyways, I have seen tube grilles for my Van but Im not "I love" Id rather the headlamps be covered as well. I have looked around and It seems they just didnt make them for the Mid Dodge Vans. (or maybe they did, I just cant find one)

Do you think it would be easy to fab one? or have someone fab one for me?? are they even legal in my state?? yaddie, yadda...

Any info would help. I messed around with some ideas with MS Paint and heres what my Van would look like with a phantom grille. Your thoughts?

What about making it out of this stuff? linky

Look at the Round 1/8" Satggered Holes one, third down, would let the headlights show through some, and you could add driving lights or fog lights below the bumper for better lighting.....

I did like this on my old suburban years ago... wish I still had a pic of it. Warning, the light output is NOT real good, so make sure to add fog/driving lights, and use them! Or maybe mount the headlights in the bumper? maybe?

You mean like this

Clicky

I think this was custom made, but doesn't Phantom grill make one still?

Love the name "Phantom Vision" for a van too.

Or this!

Home Depot carries the square aluminum tubes that you can use to fabricate one. Make some brackets that contour to the shape of the front end and space the tubes a rivet them from the back side! Sounds simple ha!
