I think the carb took a crap on me yesterday. I going to swap the one from my 72 and see how that plays out.

Got heavy into it today. Replaced just about everything on the rear brakes. New shoes, hardware, adjusters, wheel cylinders, rear brake cables (they were seized afterall!), and I also ended up replacing the steel lines that run across the rear axle to the cylinders. Somebody at one time did a repair and used a funkin compression fitting for the repair. I HATE THAT!!!!!!
Tomorrow I finish the job up since I had to order the brake cables. Nate, approximately what did the full brake reworking run you? This is something MCR needs but I haven't priced parts. Any help?

I still haven't gotten my rebuild kit from Jeg's yet. It's on backorder from Holley. In the meantime, I bought a used carb. off a running van. Hopefully it's a good one. I'll slap it on tomorrow and see how it goes. Poor van has been sitting up against the curb next to my house for 2 months. I hope no squirrels or cats have moved in.
