My own father is always on me about how TBI is much more fuel efficient but with the correct rear end, intake, exhaust, and carb you could be in the same if not better shape.
Marcus I Would put on a 600 cfm carb with an edelbrock performer intake. I have heard nothing but good things about Holley's carbs. But then again I don't know a lot and thats just based off what I've researched for V8. Not sure whats good for a v6,
I go to Truck-ins. How about you?

They can recommend the perfect set up for what you are looking for. I prefer Holley Carbs, but most younger guys love the Edelbrock. The Edelbrock is a great carb too, but I like the ease of adjusting of the Holley. Edelbrock will give you a perfect carb, intake, cam set that will give you exactly what you are looking for. They will most likely want to know what you want out of it, what gears you are running and what size tire also. These all factor into what you want to get. | | | Re: TBI to CARB | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 70 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 70 | thanks ken ill give em a shout. ive always loved HOLLEYS since i ran in streetachine clubs in the late 70s. i had a 73 nova custom. it had a factory tach in dash by the speedo. automatic shifter on the floor with fuel, amps temp gauges in the shifter console all factory. 69 camaro buckets. 396 bored ,030. 15x10 cragar sst and 15x4 up front L88 cowl induction fiberglass hood.and to top it off i have no pics at all. lost em in apt fire. should have hung on to that ride. it was my first car my dad got it for me on my 17th b-day. u live u learn. u kick yourself in the butt. later. | | | Re: TBI to CARB | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 28,125 Madman! | Madman!
