Wetsand, found paint wanted to lift on vertical surfaces if I wasn't careful. Did two more coats...

Would I do it again? If I had to. I do think it would be better if I wetsanded better, and it could still buff out nice... vertical surfaces SUCK... lots of paint runs that are tricky (take your time to smooth out each section while they are tacking up, don't just rush to do the whole thing or else you will return to find runs that won't level out with the roller. Good luck!

I'm not gonna have as good a job as the sample pics, but at the same time, I'm not driving a classic car, I'm driving a '96 Ram. Scratches are gonna happen, especially with all the offroading I tend to do. It's a workhorse van.

Mine would probably be smoother if I used more coats. Í could wetsand and polish too... don't get discouraged too quickly... take your time and figure out what works.

Well, mine's gonna still have the old scratches in because I didn't fully sand (I can't afford ten cans of primer, and screw it, I gurantee that van's gonna get scratched up anyway)

looks good. I'm ready to see a full van shot when you've got it.

I go to Truck-ins. How about you?

Late last night, an old coworker, Steff, calls up. She's like, this perfect innocent 17yo girl. Not an evil bone in her body. She was supposed to get a ride home from Andrea, but Andrea instead decided to stop by her brother-in-law's house.

You've seen them before. Top level of a duplex, wooden staircase leading up there, everything painted matte white, 50's style exhaust fan in the kitchen, one bedroom, leads to a little 'living room' where the house roof makes the ceiling have a sharp angle, where they have a dvd player playing an audio cd hooked up to a Sony stereo, everyone smoking pot... one of THOSE places. I've seen ten, all exactly the same.

Steff is scared, I pick her up, drop her off home, and see another good sign at the gas station by her house smile Get home, sleep, paint the van a second coat.

for some reason, any picture I take of the van becomes corrupted the second I send it to my AxcessMyPics thing. idk.
