She's coming along quite nicely Harold! Boy I sure would like to bid on this van when it's finished.

Yeah, the paint prices are up quite a bit. I just did a friend's car (Audi A4) for red pearl color recently - the can of paint at 1 pint is $60 CDN. That was enough for a hood and a fender! If do whole car - it'd be like about $300 something...whoa.

Bet my van - being a beast the size it is... I'm looking at a guess of $500 maybe! Oh well, painting by myself is cheaper at least.

1975 GMC shorty panel van - trying to fix to save her!
1963 Mercury Econoline project van - coming
1986 Ford Mustang LX hatchback - in use for commute, poor car!

I think it would be cool to start the bidding out at 1 bucks and give everyone here an opportunity to bid it up in minimal increments. That way we can all feel as though we had it for awhile? Of course the music will eventually stop... and a new van owner will be happy.

2014 and no more Econolines made... market blunder. The last new 2014 econoline to go to a vanner - DEADLAST
How many mid ford vans can 1 man own? Don't ask stupid questions...
My chopped mid ford will be painted black till they make a darker color.
Grind to Grind... Hot metal will abound the land... IceAge II 'The MeltDown'
My 3D printer will produce a life size 1969 mid ford in 2031... Wait and see...

sounds the way to go to me.. as long as Harold sets a reserve to what he has into this so it is of no loss to all he has put into this
actually.. the reserve should be what he has into it, plus the listing fees IMO
