may i suggest ....no theme at all,
if it were theme specific ,someone who may not be a fan of the theme but is a fan of the van may move on in their searching
-if it was a desirable presentation with potential of "adding" their own touches i believe there would be more interest
..like a nice clean white paintjob or cost effective color
maybe with some flakes in the clear or something a little "extra"
but not so extreme someone seeing it just says
"wow out of my league or funding" and moves on
.. we want a "wow i want that!" kind of buyer
the magazine funding help here is awesome and much needed
but i don't want Harold to not recover what he will have into
trying to help

I agree Erick. Tasteful and simple IMHO. BTW, I think this van should become the official logo of Van iN Magazine.

Hmmmm, how about a subtle white/off white two tone paint job with the Van In Magazine logo on the side? And shave the hinges and what not to give it a real smooth, clean look? Just my two cents.

I definitely agree with keep it simple look. White looks clean and goes with any color. No labels... Put that time or money into making other things better.

When are you hoping to have this van ready?

How many mid ford vans can 1 man own? Don't ask stupid questions...
My chopped mid ford will be painted black till they make a darker color.

My 3D printer will produce a life size 1969 mid ford in 2031... Wait and see...

How about having the walls and floor covered on the inside? Would help to generate interest and it is a great feature if you ask me. When I bought the Red FLamingo the insulation was up and gray carpet was laid! A big head start on the interior for me!

Just a thought!

I like the idea of clean for this one as for the inside my buddy is working on the art work for it at this time. the body is in good condition so i hope to have the paint on it in the next week or so. I do have a bunch of white and some pearl from my other project van. I took the white one for a drive today it go's down the road good.

Yup, I think everyone agrees, keep it simple. White isn't too many peoples favorite color, but not too many people can say they hate it either, a little pearl would be nice. Red, blue etc are very specific to peoples taste. The rims on it look fine, are they in good shape?

Another benifit to this, whoever gets this van will have to become a vanner, if not where else will they find parts for a 64 Econoline. We've got all the contacts and parts vans. Ha Ha!
