And shave the hinges and what not to give it a real smooth, clean look? Just my two cents. Yeah, man... | | | Re: Van in Magazine Van project.. | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 2,184 Likes: 1 veteran | veteran Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 2,184 Likes: 1 | I definitely agree with keep it simple look. White looks clean and goes with any color. No labels... Put that time or money into making other things better.
When are you hoping to have this van ready?
2014 and no more Econolines made... market blunder. The last new 2014 econoline to go to a vanner - DEADLAST How many mid ford vans can 1 man own? Don't ask stupid questions... My chopped mid ford will be painted black till they make a darker color. Grind to Grind... Hot metal will abound the land... IceAge II 'The MeltDown' My 3D printer will produce a life size 1969 mid ford in 2031... Wait and see...

When I bought the Red FLamingo the insulation was up and gray carpet was laid! A big head start on the interior for me!
Just a thought!

I do have a bunch of white and some pearl from my other project van. I took the white one for a drive today it go's down the road good.

White isn't too many peoples favorite color, but not too many people can say they hate it either, a little pearl would be nice. Red, blue etc are very specific to peoples taste. The rims on it look fine, are they in good shape?
Another benifit to this, whoever gets this van will have to become a vanner, if not where else will they find parts for a 64 Econoline. We've got all the contacts and parts vans. Ha Ha! | | | Re: Van in Magazine Van project.. | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 2,298 veteran | OP veteran Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 2,298 | you know it's funny I thought hunting parts for my early chevy van parts was bitch but trying to hunt ford parts is a real bitch. ive spent the last few days running all over the place trying to hunt down stuff like air shocks stearing wheel adaptor for a grant wheel and other things with no luck. and the net is runnng me all over the web. onword through the fog lol...
