I know you get plenty of snow... In fact, you probably get more because of the great lakes.

I said that phrase because it's true and also because it was a line in a famous song about this region.

I have had 2 a 94 and a99 had to change transfer case fluid because of shudder after change it runs great wife loves it.
and traction is all you have heard on here, i had to pull a 05 volvo tractor out of my drive a couple years ago after an ice storm love the awd would drive it anywhere and pull anything with it

actually, i looked at a '95 AWD for my wife... $500, and she didn't like it because it needed some body work... though, we did go 65 miles to Rochester to look at a jeep that needed a whole new floor pan 'cuz she thought it was pretty... so i've given up on looking for a vehicle for her... lol

our first was a AWD 92 GMC Safari,still have it,it has 199,000 miles on it,our second is a 2000 AWD Astro,(wife's van) & the 3rd one was a 94 AWD Safari,it is wrecked but looking for another AWD replacement.for everyday traction in rain or snow have not had any problems but I probably would not take it 4-wheelin. It does use a little more gas than the rwd astro I used to have,I estimate about 2 mpg.
