On a side note I have begun the hunt for a rear wing now that I have seen how good the one on your van looks. I'm thinking I may either try to find a prelude one or perhaps one from a Grand Prix. What was instalation like?
The rear wing installation was really easy.. The Honda Prelude wing was mounted to the trunk with "acorn nuts" onto pre-attached screws coming out of the wing.. which made it real easy to remove once the trunk was open. I only had to measure and drill holes thru my van roof. (I eyeballed it to see where it looked best.) Miraculously the screws came out inside my rear speaker enclosures [Big Grin] I removed the speakers, reached up and screwed on the acorn nuts (with a little silicone). The only thing that was a little frustrating was the ends didn't quite reach the roof on the sides. I solved that problem by wedging rubber under them so it looks like its one piece... The most amazing thing is now with the wing and my new racing stickers on the windows.. I gained 100HP HaHa!!! J/K!! [Wink]

Sounds pretty good! Lucky thing your speakers were right there. I am not so fortunate cuz I mounted my rear speakers on either side of the rear doors. Of course that means I am going to have to come down thru the head liner and make a backing plate (easy 'nuff) probably out of teak. Just need to scour the junkyards first.

Yeah.. when I first started the wing install, I looked at the inside of my van and was thinking, "crap this is going to suck to remove all this custom factory headliner, plywood, insulation and speakers.."

So I actually drilled the holes first, and then removed the speakers to see if I could get to the screws from the inside somehow. (lazy ya know..) and to my surprise there were the holes! I did have to dig out around the plywood on the roof a bit to get the nuts on the screws though.

Good Luck, and I hope you find one for yours and get it on there with minimal trouble.

(Don't forget to post some pix.. if you feel like killing time, you should start a "cardomain.com" site for your van, it's free and pretty easy to set up. )

I wuz gonna get a dozen of them and line the roof! Jus' kiddin'. [Big Grin] I am definitely going to set up a cardomain.com site tho. (Actually three of them) I just have to get some pix of the van. Unfortunately the most recent ones I have are about four or five years old. it hasn't changed at all since then at least. She's spent some 'quality time' in the garage keeping my other vehicles company. (no time or $ to work on them, to bust buliding the "Garagemahal"

yeah i was thinking about a scoop like that but like someone mentioned before some vans have a little crease in the center of the hood, and mine is one of them [Smile] it should look good on your van and i imagine it should go on with no problems.
