Lone Star Van club is having their annual Thanksgiving party today at Scooters Restaurant, 1401 Northwest Hwy Garland TX, at 2:30 PM. All vanners are welcome. Bring a dish or desert if you have one. There will be plenty for all to eat. This is a good chance for any new vanners in the DFW area to drop by and visit for an hour or so with vanners of the oldest active van club in Texas.

Thanks Rose! Just got back from the party. It was a good time, a little tamer than All Fired Up's parties but it's always nice hanging out with vanners.

I'd really encourage you Dallas vanners that haven't been to any Van clubs or eVANts to check out Lone Star Van Club. They will be having a Christmas party next month open to all vanners. Lone Star is now a relatively small club (compared to where they once were) and could really use some new blood. They have the experiance to show you the ropes and plenty of room for new vanners who want to take an active part. They have always welcomed me with open arms, first as an unknown independant and now as a member of another club. I'm still part of their vanning family. They have regular monthly meetings and welcome all vanners. Let me know if anyone needs contact information, I'll get you hooked up. I'll try to give more advance notice on their Christmas party and other gatherings in the future.
