the problem with Word is not everyone has it, or has the same version.

I prefer PDF, as everyone has PDF reader of some sort (adobe acrobat). However, the forums don't accept PDF, hopefully the next version will.
this kinda stuff is exactly what PDF was made for, portable document format

so I wen t with a PNG image format, this resizes without distorting the image much, and is a small file size, and can be opened on any computer that has some form of paint program (built into windows)

when making stuff as am image that you want people to be able to print, you need to make sure the image size is 8.5x"11" (for a full page flyer) and the resolution is set to 72. you can bump the resolution higher, but it makes the file size bigger, which makes for longer uploads/downloads

The Original Idea was Clovers, Phoenix came up with an awesome signup board, and I came up with the Signup sheet, and Ken and Dave made it happen here, so it was a group effort!
Once again Vanners working with and for Vanners!

Great Work, can't Beat combined effort. It should be right at the Gate, when you Check in, host should remember to ask if you're a member,or if you'd like to be.

Too much stuff already at front gate so it would be easy just to set something up on Sat. Like we did for Last Chance. We mentioned several times here to come to Tri County/Free Spirit campsite to sign up.

Okay, nobody dis me here for just saying what I am about to say--

at smaller eVANts if the host club or vanning.com member thinks it is viable to place it at the front gate that is great. However, as Dee Jaye says there is usually lots of stuff going on at the gate. An option to this would be to place the sheet in the next busiest place for Vanners to find it, and I suppose that would be vendor's row. Again, a place with lots going on. An easel near a trusted vendor might just solve the problem.

Now, at the Nationals we have the Vanners in Cyberspace meet and greet, usually on Friday evening at around 7. What I am trying to figure out here is, since we will be having the VIC meet and greet at the 2010 Nats, is the board a necessary element for the week? And who would be in charge of it and where to place it.....so many questions... I know.

And, again, I am not trying to slight anyone here--just to make it a smoother item to work into eVANts. Remember, redundancy is a time waster and as someone who has hosted eVANts, just don't want to be so if it can be helped.

And yes--it looks great! Thanks to all that worked on it and to Astro for getting it to work here!
